Deployed May 8, 2016 and dormant for years — recently rediscovered. A quirk in the native buy() function lets anyone claim pseudo-random amounts permissionlessly, for free, onchain.
Claims run through the OptimizedBatchClaimer contract on Etherscan — no third-party app required. You need a wallet with a small amount of ETH for gas.
- 01Open Write ContractGo to the claimer contract on Etherscan → Contract → Write Contract.
- 02Connect your walletClick Connect to Web3 and approve in MetaMask (or any injected wallet).
- 03Find claimOptimizedIt's function #1 in the list.
- 04Enter the parameters
times2300number of buy() calls to batchstart0starting seedmaxScan500seeds to scan per iterationthreshold1010min units per claim — skips low rolls - 05Write → confirm in walletClick Write, confirm the transaction, and wait for it to land. Each call claims roughly 2,300,000+ units in one tx.
The threshold filters out low pseudo-random rolls — only seeds yielding ≥1010 of the max 1023 units per buy are accepted, maximising what you get per gas dollar.
The 2016 token predates modern ERC-20 standards. The WrappedTest contract wraps it 1:1 into a standard token that works with modern wallets, DEXs, and tools. No fees, no admin functions. Unwrap any time.
- 01Open the original token's Write ContractGo to the token on Etherscan → Contract → Write Contract, then click Connect to Web3.
- 02Find approveAndCall (function #3)Open it directly: ...#writeContract#F3.
- 03Fill in the parameters
_spender0x8675…9eAE_valuebase units to wrap — see note below_extraData0x - 04Write → confirm in walletApproval and wrap happen in a single transaction. Wrapped tokens land in your wallet immediately.
- 05Add the wrapped token to your walletImport
0x8675…9eAEas a custom token. Set decimals to 0.
The 2016 token's approval is not reset between wraps. It accumulates per address.
- First wrap:
_value= the amount you want to wrap. - Every wrap after:
_value= total ever wrapped + new amount.
Example: wrapped 2,000,000 before, want 1,000,000 more → enter 3,000,000. Entering only the new amount will fail. Unwrapping does not reset this.
Wrapped before? Enter your past total + new amount to get the right _value.
Go to the WrappedTest Write Contract, call unwrap(amount) with the units to return. Original $test comes back 1:1.
